Who We Are:
Mystery in the City is a travel company based in Paris, France specialized in crafting unique urban experiences in the form of Mystery boxes and City hunts. Our website address is: https://www.mysteryinthecity.com. When used in this Agreement, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Mystery in the City.
Unused mystery boxes are non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend or used at a later date. Simply contact us no later than 48 hours before the previously agreed upon delivery date so that we can coordinate the new delivery location and date for the box. There are no refunds in the event that you cannot use your box because of weather conditions or schedule conflicts.
We sincerely hope that you love your mystery box. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your box, please email us at email@example.com and we will do our best to make things right.
We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors and customers. All physical address and email information is kept private and never sold. Promotional emails are only sent to customers or website visitors who opt-in to receive our email newsletter.
We regularly share pictures and other media uploaded or otherwise submitted by our customers on social media, our blog and other platforms. If you do not want your pictures to be shared, let us know and we are happy to keep the pictures private.
By sending us your pictures, you are giving Mystery in the City permission to use your images. You are also affirming that you own or have the necessary rights to all of your uploaded content and that said content does not infringe, misappropriate or violate a third party’s intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and credit card/payment details. We’ll use this information to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
- Improve our store offerings
- Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for three years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.
We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
